“There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have gone, the light remains.”The TKD Foundation is deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved friend and co-founder, Thomas E. “Ted” Day. Ted passed away Monday, September 14, 2020 at the age of 59. Ted was deeply loved by his family and friends and it cannot be put into words the loss that will be felt by his passing. In addition to his family, those of us who had the opportunity to work with him will also feel a tremendous loss. He was an extraordinarily kind, smart and accomplished entrepreneur who, through his giving spirit, impacted his neighbors, community and humankind as a whole. Ted and Kim’s philanthropic vision will continue as the TKD Foundation honors Ted’s legacy by making a world where people’s most basic needs are met and one where innovative ideas are turned into real help for humankind.
